Mibet exhibited at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, Germany, from June 23 to 25 at Booth A5-270.

The booth featured PV mounting products for five application areas: ground-mounted solar, rooftops, floating solar, solar carports, and single-axis tracking.

Five PV Mounting Systems on Display

G5 Floating Solar System

The G5 floating solar system uses HDPE floats with a high-strength supporting structure for reservoir and lake projects.

Each float includes a pressure-equalization plug that balances internal and external pressure as temperatures change. This reduces the pressure difference across the float body and helps limit deformation during temperature cycles.

Floating PV structures remain exposed to moisture, wind, temperature variation, and movement on the water surface throughout their operating life. Float construction and connection details therefore have a direct bearing on long-term mechanical performance.

Single-Axis Solar Tracking System

Mibet also displayed a multi-point-drive single-axis tracker.

Its controller uses GPS positioning and backtracking logic to manage tracker movement through the day. During low-sun periods, backtracking adjusts tracker angles to reduce shading between adjacent rows. When defined weather thresholds are reached, the controller moves the array to a protective position.

Single-axis tracking can produce more energy than a fixed-tilt array, but the gain is site-dependent. Solar resource, latitude, ground coverage ratio, module configuration, terrain, and tracker control settings all affect the final result.

Ground-Mounted Solar Systems

The ground-mount range covers projects with different terrain, foundation conditions, wind and snow loads, module layouts, and installation constraints.

Structural layouts and foundation options are selected from the project inputs. Prefabricated components reduce the amount of assembly required on site and can shorten installation time where terrain and construction conditions permit.

This is particularly relevant on large ground-mounted projects, where repeated field assembly can have a substantial effect on labor requirements and construction schedules.

Solar Carport Systems

The solar carport range uses aluminum framing and waterproofing details for commercial and industrial parking areas.

Carport design involves more than module support. Engineers also need to account for column spacing, vehicle clearance, drainage, cable routing, foundation conditions, and access for installation and maintenance.

These requirements are considered together when the structural layout is developed for a specific parking area.

Rooftop PV Mounting Systems

The rooftop display included mounting options for flat roofs, metal roofs, and tile roofs.

Ballasted mounting can provide a non-penetrating option for suitable flat roofs. Roof structure, membrane condition, wind loads, roof slope, and allowable ballast weight determine whether the method is appropriate.

Metal-roof systems use clamps or other attachments selected for the roof profile. Tile-roof systems use hooks and mounting interfaces according to the tile and underlying roof construction.

The attachment method is selected from the roof type and the structural conditions of the individual project.

Supporting PV Projects Across Different Applications

Mibet has worked in solar mounting for more than a decade, with products used in ground-mounted, rooftop, floating solar, carport, and tracking applications.

Intersolar Europe 2026 provided an opportunity to present these systems together and discuss project requirements with EPC contractors, developers, distributors, and installers from different markets.
