Roof Compatibility

The foot fastens through the metal sheet into the purlin or rafter below. Trapezoidal and corrugated steel are the primary applications. Add standard flashing, and the same base works on asphalt shingles while protecting the roof's integrity.

Fast install

Rail attachment hardware comes pre-assembled on the foot. You set the foot, drive a self-drilling screw or lag bolt, and the rail clamp is ready. Fewer loose components on the roof means crews finish faster and drop fewer parts.

Materials and finish

The aluminum body is AL6005-T5, anodized for outdoor exposure. Fasteners are SUS304. Secure the base to steel purlins using bi-metal or self-drilling screws, then lock the rail in place with the stainless hardware.

Load path

The connection transfers load into the structure below, not just the roof sheet. Tested to AS/NZS 1170.2 and ASCE 7-16, the assembly withstands up to 60 m/s wind and 1.4 kN/m² snow load, depending on fastener choice and spacing.

Watertight seal and isolation

The bonded EPDM pad resists UV and ozone. Torquing the base compresses the pad around the puncture, forming a watertight seal. The pad also isolates the aluminum from the steel roof, preventing galvanic corrosion at the contact point.

30 mm of adjustment

The upright features a slotted hole. You can raise or lower the rail to level across uneven roof profiles and keep modules coplanar, without stacking shims.
