ROOF MOUNTING SYSTEMS

Handling site-specific wind loads shouldn't mean voiding the roof warranty. We build our attachments from AL6005-T5 aluminum and 300-series stainless steel, calculating load capacities to ASCE 7 standards. You get a secure connection that matches the roof profile and keeps the building envelope watertight.

For standing seam metal, our profile-specific clamps grip the seam without piercing the panels. On flat roofs, ballasted layouts distribute the array's dead load to prevent membrane or concrete damage. For tile, we apply EPDM gaskets at the factory to seal penetrations against moisture. We ship these parts with pre-assembled clamps and T-bolt fasteners to cut your installation hours.

Match Your Mounting Kit to the Roof Profile

Metal Roof Attachments

Aluminum clamps match standing seam, trapezoidal, and corrugated profiles. On exposed-fastener roofs, connect the brackets to L-feet to tie into the purlins, transferring shear and uplift forces into the substructure. For standing seams, the clamps grip the ribs without penetrating the metal, letting the panels expand and contract with temperature changes.

Solar Tile Roof Hooks

Stainless steel and zinc-nickel plated hooks anchor into the wooden rafters or steel battens underneath. Slotted holes let you adjust on two axes to level the rails across uneven roofs. By holding clearance above the deck, the hooks keep dead weight off brittle clay or concrete tiles to prevent cracking.

Flat Roof Mounting Matrix

On low-slope roofs, interconnected grids share the load across the array footprint. Adding wind deflectors reduces uplift, lowering the total ballast weight required. Protection pads sit between the base feet and the membrane, separating metal from TPO, PVC, or bitumen surfaces to prevent abrasion.

Material & Structural Specifications

Rails are extruded from anodized aluminum or roll-formed from hot-dip galvanized carbon steel (Q235B/Q355). 304 stainless steel fasteners break the galvanic corrosion cycle wherever dissimilar metals meet. Our engineering team runs site-specific wind and snow load calculations during the design phase to verify the layout meets your local structural codes.

Mounting Solutions by Roof Type and Profile

Metal Roofs: Standing Seam and Trapezoidal

Our non-penetrating clamps grip the standing seam directly — no holes in the roof, no leak paths, and the factory warranty stays intact. For exposed-fastened trapezoidal profiles, short-rail kits use hanger bolts backed by EPDM washers to seal out moisture at each attachment point.

Residential Tile

Our height-adjustable roof hooks fit S-tile, flat concrete, and clay roofs. The base plates dial in the level to compensate for uneven roof planes and inconsistent batten spacing. The hook bolts through the sheathing into the rafter, clearing the tile completely. Dead load and wind forces follow a clean load path: module to rail to hook to rafter.

Flat Commercial Decks

Concrete, TPO, and EPDM membranes take either ballasted or mechanically anchored setups. No roof penetrations on ballasted layouts — the array stays in place under its own weight. You set the tilt angle between 5° and 30° based on your site's target yield and wind zone. Older buildings often have tight structural limits. Adding rear wind deflectors to a ballasted layout mitigates aerodynamic uplift. Less uplift drops the required ballast weight, keeping the total rooftop dead load (psf) inside acceptable structural margins.

AL6005-T5 & SUS304

Anodized AL6005-T5 aluminum and 300-series stainless steel won't corrode or degrade on the roof, even after decades of exposure.

Pre-Assembled Parts

Clamps and foldable tilt legs ship assembled. Click-in nuts drop into the rails, cutting loose hardware and install time on site.

Wind & Snow Ratings

We size rail spans and support spacing from your site data. The extrusions handle heavy snowpack and wind uplift without deforming.

icon

Large Panel Fit

Clamps fit 30–40mm module frames. Rail spacing adapts to high-wattage, large-format panels across varying tilts and layouts.

Roof Seal Integrity

Seam clamps grip the metal without drilling. Where hanger bolts penetrate the deck, EPDM washers compress to seal the opening.

Tested & Certified

Hardware meets AS/NZS 1170, CE, and UL 2703. Pull-out tests and salt spray cycles confirm load capacity and corrosion resistance.
